megan pence, Executive Director

Megan is thrilled to serve as the Executive Director of Lakeshore Players, having served as the organization’s Managing Director from 2021-2025. A director/actor/arts administrator, Megan previously worked as the Director of Administration & Resident Ensemble member for the Commonweal Theatre and the Associate Director of Prairie Fire Theatre. Locally, Megan has directed and stage managed at Park Square, GREAT, Stages, and CLIMB. In addition to her administrative role, Megan has flexed her creative muscles at Lakeshore playing Heidi in What the Constitution Means to Me (2023-2024), and directing Calendar Girls (2023) & Misery (2025). Megan also serves as the Artistic Director of Girl Friday Productions. She earned her MFA in Theatre Directing at Florida State University.


JUSTIN HOOPER, PRODUCTION Director

Justin cherishes all things dramatic. He began his professional career as a Stage Manager for Glimmerglass Opera in Cooperstown, NY. He survived two seasons but ultimately succumbed to home-sickness and returned to his home in Minneapolis, MN to accept a job as a Scenic Artist for The Guthrie Theater. A decade and a half later, he is proud to join the Lakeshore team. As a freelancer, he identifies, first and foremost, as a scenic designer but his wide range of experience also includes lighting, sound, props, performing, directing, and producing.


quinn masterson, artistic programs manager

Quinn (he/him) is a seasoned Twin Cities artist bringing a wealth of experience to his role as Artistic Programs Manager at Lakeshore Players Theatre. His diverse career spans both on and off-stage roles, collaborating with renowned companies including The Guthrie Theater, Artistry, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, The Old Globe, The Phipps Center for the Arts, and Lyric Arts. A proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (BA in Theatre Performance and Stage Management), Quinn also channels his passion into directing and mentoring the next generation of student artists at Park and Woodbury High Schools. Originally hailing from Whitewater, WI, he finds immense joy working at Lakeshore, where the enchanting proximity to the lake adds a constant layer of inspiration to his creative work. hannah steblay, programming associate

Hannah Steblay is a Twin Cities-based theater director, educator, and theater maker, passionate about storytelling and community-driven performance. With 20 years of experience, she has worked as a director, producer, sound designer, actor, writer, and deviser, gaining a deep understanding of theater’s collaborative nature. She specializes in classical texts, theater education, and large-scale musicals, using storytelling to foster meaningful connections. Hannah is thrilled to be part of the Lakeshore Players Theatre team, serving the White Bear Lake community. She is dedicated to collaborating on impactful productions that inspire, challenge, and bring audiences together.


SARA BRABEC, PATRON SERVICES COORDINATOR

A jack-of-all-trades, a theatre enthusiast, and a volunteer extraordinaire, Sara is excited to be working at Lakeshore Players Theatre and creating a welcoming experience for all to enjoy. Sara has a background in Early and Elementary Education, but is most often found around the stage playing the roles of backstage volunteer, president of her community theatre’s board, and even on the stage herself (most recently seen as Mrs. Potts in Masquers Theatre’s production of Beauty and the Beast). When she isn’t around the stage, you can find Sara on an adventure with her incredible husband, their three spectacular children, and the best puppies in the world.


ann sULLIVAN, BOX OFFICE SUPERVISOR


Ann recently wrapped a 30-year career in marketing & communications and is thrilled to be working at Lakeshore Players Theatre. She’s been a member of the Front-of-House team for two years and loves every aspect of patron services – especially welcoming guests to the theater before performances. Ann is an avid reader, fiction writer and ocean lover. She wants everyone to enjoy the magic of theatre and strives to make their experience perfect.


Lane Bode, scene shop SUPERVISOR


Lane Bode is first and foremost a theatre lover, as well as a lighting designer, sound designer, and carpenter. Born and raised in the Twin Cities area, he received a BA in Theatre from Concordia St. Paul, and has been freelancing around the Cities since, including work at The Guthrie, Theatre Latte Da, Artistry, Lyric Arts, Penumbra, and more. You may have seen his design work at the Lakeshore Players, St. Croix Falls Festival Theatre, or Children's Performing Arts. He's very pleased to join the Lakeshore team, and is excited to help bring wonderful theatre to the White Bear-area!
