Improv with Taj
4-SESSION COURSE
Thursdays, July 9, 16, 23, 30 | 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Led by Taj Ruler
Loosen up, think on your feet, and have fun. This four-session improv class focuses on spontaneity, listening, collaboration, and trusting your instincts. Through games and exercises, participants will build confidence, creativity, and ensemble skills in a playful, low-pressure setting. Great for beginners and anyone looking to laugh, connect, and get out of their head a little.
Acting for Beginners
3-SESSION COURSE
Saturdays, July 11, 18, 25 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
New to acting or looking to build confidence onstage? This three-session class is a welcoming introduction to the fundamentals of performance. Participants will explore voice, movement, character, focus, and scene work in a fun, supportive environment. Perfect for adults who are curious about acting and want to grow their skills without pressure.
How to Audition Successfully
3-SESSION COURSE
Saturdays, July 11, 18, 25 | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Auditioning can be intimidating, but preparation makes all the difference. In this three-session class, participants will learn practical tools for walking into the room with confidence. We’ll work on cold reads, monologues, slating, making strong choices, and handling nerves, with insight into what directors are really looking for. Great for performers of all experience levels who want to sharpen their audition technique.
Sips & Scripts
DROP-IN STYLE COURSE
Sundays, July 12, 19, 26 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
A play-reading club with coffee. In this relaxed drop-in style class, participants will gather to read a play together and enjoy lively conversation about its characters, themes, language, and big ideas. No performance pressure, just a chance to enjoy great writing and connect with others through discussion. Perfect for theatre lovers, book club fans, and anyone who enjoys digging into a good story.
Note on Flexibility: This is a drop-in style course! There is no need to commit to all three dates. Feel free to register for the entire series or simply pick and choose the specific Sundays that best fit your schedule.
1-Day Directing Workshop
Saturday, July 18 | 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Curious about what it takes to shape a scene from the other side of the room? This three-hour workshop offers an introduction to the art of directing, from script analysis and storytelling to blocking and working with actors. Participants will get a chance to think like a director and practice making clear, compelling creative choices. A great fit for actors, teachers, emerging directors, or anyone interested in the rehearsal process.

Capacity is limited and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
A class may be cancelled due to low enrollment.
If a class is cancelled, your registration fee will be returned.
Payment must be received for registration to be confirmed.

Summer Camps: All sales for summer camps are final, and no refunds will be issued.
Students must wear clothes and shoes that allow for movement.
