Auditions typically take place 2-4 months ahead of the show dates for each production. Lakeshore Players Theatre announces auditions on this page and Minnesota Playlist, as well as our Facebook and Instagram accounts. Unless otherwise indicated, all roles are non-union adults aged 18+.

Lakeshore Players Theatre is excited to announce auditions for Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play. In the aftermath of a catastrophic event that has left the world without electricity, a small group of survivors gathers around a fire and begins piecing together an episode of The Simpsons from memory. What begins as a familiar story shared for comfort evolves across decades into something much bigger—part folklore, part pop culture, and part theatrical spectacle. Darkly funny, wildly inventive, and unexpectedly moving, Mr. Burns explores how the stories we love change as we pass them on, and how art, memory, and community help us make sense of a world transformed.

Callbacks: October 11, 11:00 am-4:00 pm (Schedule TBD)

Tech Week: January 14-21
Performances: January 22-31 (8 performances)

The performer must be available for all tech rehearsals and performances to be considered. All rehearsals and performances take place at the Hanifl Performing Arts Center in White Bear Lake. Adult performers receive a $15/performance travel stipend. Reliable transportation is required for participation.
