AUDITIONS FOR THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST
Lakeshore Players Theatre is thrilled to welcome back Craig Johnson to direct Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest. Earnest is a sparkling comedy of manners, full of wit, mistaken identities, and social satire. Set in Victorian England, it follows two charming young men who adopt fictitious identities to escape social obligations—and win the hearts of two women. But when their deceptions collide, hilarity ensues in this timeless classic about the triviality of serious things and the seriousness of trivial things.
Director: Craig Johnson
Tentative Rehearsal Dates: February 9 -March 12, 2026
Tech Week: March 8-12, 2026
Performances: March 13-March 22 (7 performances)
