In this quirky, heartfelt comedy, Sky sets off on a road trip to honor a dear friend’s final wish. Along the way, unexpected detours, unlikely companions, and tender moments of grief & joy create a witty, touching journey about love, loss, and finding your way forward.

Location

All performances are held at the Hanifl Performing Arts Center: 4941 Long Ave., White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Free parking is available in the lot surrounding the theatre. Come Back will be presented in The Royal Credit Union Foundation Black Box Theatre, and the seating is general admission.

Running times are currently being finalized in rehearsals. We anticipate a total running time of approximately 135 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. Check back here or look for our pre-show email for updates!

CONTENT advisory & AGE RECOMMENDATION

Come Back is a poignant comedy-drama that explores themes of mortality and profound loss. This production contains mature themes, including frank discussions and depictions of grief , terminal illness (cancer) , and medical aid in dying/assisted suicide. It also includes strong language and references to drug use. Production-specific elements, such as unique staging, lighting, or sound effects will be finalized during rehearsals. At this time, the production is recommended for ages 14+. Lakeshore does not “rate” productions, as sensitivities vary from person to person.
