CENTURY COLLEGE PLAYHOUSE & LAKESHORE PLAYERS THEATRE are thrilled to announce

the 2026 10-minute play festival

The popular 10-Minute Minute Play Festival will return in the 2025-2026 Season as a partnership with Century College Playhouse! For 20 seasons, Lakeshore Players Theatre invited playwrights from around the world to submit new 10-minute plays for consideration to be performed as a part of this annual festival. Ten plays were blindly selected by committee, and then were rehearsed and performed for the public by community members. We’re excited to revive this popular program as a co-production by Century College Playhouse and Lakeshore Players.

We are accepting play submissions now through September 4, 2025. The submission link can be found below. We will be seeking volunteers for the play evaluating committee in late summer 2025, and auditions will take place toward the end of the year. A more detailed timeline can be found at the bottom of this page.

Performances of The 2026 10-Minute Play Festival will take place at Century College’s West Campus Theatre from February 20-March 1, 2026. Tickets will be available in late July of 2025. Tickets are not available as a part of the Lakeshore Players Season 73 subscription series.
