When and where is the gala? The event is Thursday, May 14, at 5:30 PM. Doors will open for registration no earlier than 5:15 PM. The gala is being held at the Hanifl Performing Arts Center, 4941 Long Ave. in White Bear Lake. Please enter through the doors by the back parking lot (the west entrance).
What if I already have tickets for Once Upon a Mattress? If you have tickets to Once Upon a Mattress for a different date but would like to attend the gala performance instead, we can help you with that! You can order your gala tickets online and answer “Yes” to this question, and our box office will take care of this exchange for you. Or you can contact the Box Office directly at (651) 478-7427 or in-person and we can help you that way.
What do I wear? The dress code for the event is “cocktail attire encouraged,” but don’t be afraid to add a little glam and sparkle for this Vegas-themed event!
What’s the food and drink situation? Do I need to bring cash for the bar? Food and drinks are complimentary. All guests must be 21+.There will be passed appetizers and a small plates buffet, plus desserts during the show intermission. Please bring cash to tip your bartenders. There will also be some games of chance for which you will want cash or a debit card.
What is the tax-deductible value for my ticket? Gala tickets have a tax-deductible value of $60 each. If you need a tax letter to reflect this, please email us at tickets@lakeshoreplayers.org.
