ANNOUNCING AUDITIONS FOR A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

Lakeshore Players Theatre is excited to announce auditions for A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  This production reimagines Shakespeare’s beloved comedy at the height of the Industrial Revolution, infused with bright, anachronistic modern flashes. At the heart of the story is Bottom and his hilariously earnest band of Mechanicals, a group of hardworking tradespeople determined to rehearse a play for the Duke’s wedding. When their plans collide with a magical forest full of feuding fairies, mischievous spells, and confused young lovers, chaos erupts. Bold, funny, and full of theatrical invention, this Midsummer celebrates imagination, transformation, and the joyful ridiculousness of putting on a play.
