announcing the return of the 10-minute play festival

We are excited to announce the return of the 10-Minute Minute Play Festival in the 2025-2026 Season as a partnership with Century College Playhouse! For 20 seasons, Lakeshore Players Theatre invited playwrights from around the world to submit new 10-minute plays for consideration to be performed as a part of this annual festival. Ten plays were blindly selected by committee, and then were rehearsed and performed for the public by community members. We’re excited to revive this popular program as a co-production by Century College Playhouse and Lakeshore Players.

Lakeshore Players will be sending out calls for play submissions in the summer of 2025, and the play evaluation and selection process will take place in the fall. Auditions for community members to participate will take place in late fall 2025 with rehearsals beginning in January 2026. See the anticipated timeline below.

Performances of The 10-Minute Play Festival will take place at Century Theatre from February 20-March 1, 2026. Tickets will be available in summer 2025. Tickets are not available as a part of the Lakeshore Players Season 73 subscription series.
