THE CAPSTONE INITIATIVE
We have built state of the art facilities, and with investments of more than $9 million, creating a performing arts center that will:
- Enrich people’s lives and nurture civic connections in order to be a source of pride for our community, the state, and the region.
- Be the premier outlet for entertainment for children, families, couples, and our entire community.
- Provide arts education for our children and students, cultivating life-long appreciation of the arts, while developing communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
We are home!
Your contribution to the Lakeshore Players Theatre Capstone Initiative will fully fund the $9.2 million Capital Campaign.
For 64 years, donors like you have supported Lakeshore Players in its mission to serve the needs of our community. As we enter the final phase of the capital campaign to build a new performing arts center, the Capstone Initiative will ensure we reach our goals of expanding our facility and increasing our programming capacity.
Together we have already raised $8.5 million and made this inclusive 22,000 square foot performing arts center our home.
“With the bulk of the fundraising complete, we are now asking every person whose life has been touched by Lakeshore to make a special investment in its future, to positively impact the lives of our visitors for the next 50 years and beyond.”
— Capital Campaign Donor
The following opportunities for public recognition in the new performing arts center are available to donors:
- Prominent donor name recognition on the major donor wall in the Sally Irvine Family Lobby.
- Advance ticket notices, invitations to exclusive programs and events, major openings, lectures, and refreshments.
- Name recognition in special Lakeshore Players publications and materials.

Lakeshore Players Theatre is raising funds to purchase a Steinway Concert Grand Piano for the new performing arts center. The addition of a Steinway Grand Piano to our programming will provide superior experiences and opportunities for our guests, donors and performing artists.
The quality of the experience delivered by a Steinway is unmatched by any other instrument in the world.
The excellence and experience delivered through this world class instrument will noticeably enhance every theatre performance, every concert, and each workshop and class that will take place in the new performing arts center.
