Founded in 1953 in White Bear Lake, Lakeshore Players Theatre has continuously operated as a community theater. In April 2018, Lakeshore began a new era, operating year-round in the new Hanifl Performing Arts Center. Our beautiful new home, is really a gift from thousands of residents of our city and the surrounding region, who have so generously contributed to our capital and growth campaigns. For this we are truly grateful.
It doesn't stop there. We are a true community theatre and our small, dedicated staff depends on the many volunteers who help put together every show. For every production, volunteers fill vital roles behind the scenes, on the stage, and in the house. I hope you will check out the many opportunities to be involved. No experience necessary and it's fun!
Check out our upcoming performances on the main stage, in the Lakeshore Kids & Family Theatre series, and our educational programs. Hopefully, you will find something that interests you, and you'll become part of our ever-growing community. Thank you!
